"Chocolate Day" being Valentine's Day. While I love my boyfriend very much and he means the absolute world to me, chocolate is very much a close second love, next to flannel shirts.
Anyhow, we didn't do anything super-romantic and special - we just spent a few hours at my house.
I gave him a box of chocolates, while he was sweet enough to track down vintage Japanese plushies of the Inner Senshi from Sailor Moon.
So yeah, today was still special in its own way.To my single watchers, at least there should be sales on chocolate starting tomorrow. To my asexual/aromantic/celibate watchers, don't worry about being single or not wanting a relationship in the future. Everyone has different views on romance, and we no longer live in a world where it's considered unusual or undesirable to be a bachelor or spinster (unless you live in a judgemental area). Valentine's Day is just a secular holiday, and you don't need to take it seriously - I never actually do, even though I always get my boyfriend a card and a present. I still love him every single day of the year, and you can remain single every day too. It's your life, and no-one should criticise you for how you lead it.
